Welcome to Covenant Academy!

I’m honored to welcome you to this amazing community of teachers, staff, parents, and students. We’ve been nurturing hearts and minds for over two decades as an intentionally small school in the fourth largest city in the U.S. You could say we’re a small town in a big city. We’re shaping the next generation, and we’d love for you to join us!

Our Story

Our journey began in 2003 with a group of parents committed to providing a classical Christian education for their children. From our modest start with 56 students in grades K-8, we’ve grown to include a high school, graduating our first class in 2016. Our facility on Telge Road, acquired in 2008, has been a blessing, allowing us to invest more in our faculty and students. Our accreditation with AdvancEd (Cognia) is a testament to our commitment to educational excellence.

Our Mission

Covenant Academy exists to serve Christ and His Kingdom, by sharing the gospel and partnering with parents to train students by way of Scripture and the classical liberal arts.

Our Plan

Covenant Academy's strategic plan is built on five pillars: faculty development, a diverse and Christian student body, financial stability, community engagement, and facility enhancement. Our goal is to mold graduates who embody our school's vision and become leaders in our community.

Statement of
Faith

God calls parents to teach their children what is true, good, and beautiful. They are called to teach them faithfully, thoroughly, and diligently. Our school exists to partner with parents in this calling.

School Crest and Motto

The Covenant cross represents the love and sacrifice of Jesus Christ. The flower represents the flower of Christianity, the Liberal Arts Tradition.  In that flower our four houses connect our school through love for the common good. As we partner with parents to disciple our students, in the way of the cross they learn that suffering produces perseverance and character that blossoms into a flourishing life with Christ. Our school’s motto and goal is to pursue glory to God alone, Soli Deo Gloria!

The education at Covenant not only taught me what was true, good, and beautiful but also why those things were worthy of pursuit and defense. Knowing the reason behind pursuing such things and being convinced of their good makes it much easier to live out that pursuit. It gives us a purpose, not just a command.
