Curriculum - Character - Community

Welcome to Covenant Academy, a classical Christian school located in Cypress, on the northwest side of Houston, Texas.
We are an intentionally small school, focusing on curriculum, character, and community as we train servant leaders. At Covenant, partnership with families is the backbone of our mission. Students study the Scriptures, read great books, and discover the wonders of God’s creation through math and science in beautiful classrooms surrounded by the natural light of our center courtyard.
- Would you like to stop the cycle of cram, pass, and forget and instill a life-long love of learning in your child?
- Are you looking for a school where your child can flourish in a positive environment?
- Have you ever wished you could be part of a community that took the time to get to know each other beyond the classroom?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, we invite you to come visit our campus and discover what makes Covenant different!
What Students Say About Us...
“The education at Covenant not only taught me what was true, good, and beautiful, but also why those things were worthy of pursuit and defense. Knowing the reason behind pursuing such things and being convinced of their good makes it much easier to live out that pursuit. It gives us a purpose, not just a command.” — Covenant Alumni
“Covenant has helped me be able to discern what is worth knowing and doing. For even at a Christian college, the good can be an enemy of the best. Covenant has taught me to recognize the good and, because we tend to run to what we are familiar with, has taught me to run to the good.” — Covenant Alumni
“Covenant illuminated the meaning of virtue for me and clearly displayed the value in daily choosing to seek it out. I am confident that life is about knowing and loving the highest good.” — Covenant Alumni
In all our programs and teaching, we seek to be:
Christ-Centered: We teach all subjects as parts of an integrated whole with the Scriptures at the center; pursue academic excellence to equip students to stand firm in their belief of a Christian worldview when confronted with other worldviews; provide a clear model of a biblical Christian life through our faculty and staff (Matthew 22:37-40); and encourage each student to begin and develop his relationship with God the Father through Jesus Christ (Matthew 28:18-20, Matthew 19:13-15).
Classical: We emphasize grammar, logic and rhetoric in all subjects; encourage every student to develop a love for learning and seek God's glory in all things; and provide an orderly, loving environment that nurtures human flourishing.
